He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Garrett and Flossie Garrett; his wife Jean Francis Poppleton; and his sister Judy Simmons. He is survived by: his children, Dennis E. Garrett (Lois) of Braceville, IL, Teresa Sanches (Allen) of Morris, IL, David Garrett (Sherri) of South Wilmington, IL and Rebecca Beasley (Phil) of Wilmington, IL.; his grandchildren, Tim Garrett (Nettie), Jacob Garrett, Joshua Garrett, Anthony Garrett (Sam), Taylor Garrett, Stephanie Beasley, Kayla Garrett, Cody Garrett, Mandie Sanches, Megan Coates (Henry) and Kilee Crichton; his great grandchildren, Dalilah Garrett, Bentley Garrett, Waylon Perry, Amelia Perry, Milo Coates, Logan Coates, Kaden Garrett, Ariel Sullivan, Ashton Sullivan, Maggie Perry and Violet Perry; his brothers, Billy Wayne Garrett, Vernon Garrett, Roger Garrett (Marva) and David Garrett (Bobbie June); and his sister-in-law Marilyn of Montana.
