We are sad to announce that, on May 25, 2026, at the age of 89, Dorothy Rae Willis (Braidwood, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Renner and Eldora Renner; her daughter Paula Grant; her sister Dixie L. Renner; her aunt Pauline; her uncle James Kilpatric; and her granddaughter Wendy L. O'Donovan.
She is survived by: her husband Frank T. Willis; her son Richard Willis (Theresa); her grandchildren, Scott Willis (Sheila), Bonnie S. Bender (Jamie) and Stephanie Zidek (Gary); her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Willis, Lorissa Willis, Tyler Duha (Jade), Breanna Willis and Julian Zidek; and her great great grandchildren, Raelynn Duha and Emerald Hamilton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Dorothy's memory may be made to Candlelight Home Healthcare L.L.C., 115 S. Broadway St., Coal City, IL 60416, or to Uplifted Care Hospice, 482 Main Street NW, Bourbonnais, IL 60914, in appreciation of the kindness and care shown to Dorothy and her family.
