He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Van and Blanche Jewel Willis; his wife Dorothy Rae Renner; his daughter Paula Grant; his granddaughter Wendy L. O'Donovan; his siblings, Alice Carnes, Mary Hayes, Irma Decker, Carolyn McStoots, Harlan Willis and Randy Willis; and his sister-in-law Dixie Renner.
He is survived by: his son Richard Willis (Theresa) of Braidwood; his grandchildren, Scott Willis (Shelia), Bonnie S. Bender (Jamie) and Stephanie Zidek (Gary); his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Willis, Lorissa Willis, Tyler Duha (Jade), Breanna Willis, William Bender and Julian Zidek; his great great grandchildren, Raelynn Duha and Emerald Hamilton; and his brothers, Layman Willis (Mildred) of Grayson, KY and Darrell Willis of Grayson, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the R. W. Patterson Funeral Home (401 E Main St, Braidwood, IL 60408). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Frank's memory may be made to Candlelight Home Healthcare L.L.C., 115 S. Broadway St., Coal City, IL 60416, or to Uplifted Care Hospice, 482 Main Street NW, Bourbonnais, IL 60914, in appreciation of the kindness and care shown to their family.
