He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Bormet, and Martha Bormet, Sr.; his wife Joan Bormet; his grandson Brian Bormet; and his siblings, Vernon Bormet, Evelyn Wegner, Betty Ann Thomas, Jean Thompson, Edwin Bormet, Jr. and Glen Bormet.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Duran (Tim) of Braidwood, IL, Diane Yatuni (Rick) of South Wilmington, IL, Rick Bormet (Edna Figueroa) of Milan, TN and Joseph Bormet of Braidwood; his grandchildren, Sasha, Danny Drew, Amber, Timmy Duran, Ashley Davalos, Brandon, Breanne Bormet, Stephanie and Cassi Yatuni; and his siblings, Joan Kirns, Melvin Bormet (Arzelle) of Homer Glen and Allen Bormet of Chebanse. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in his name may be directed to the Bohemian National Cemetery.
