Nicky L. Adams Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nicky L. Adams of Braidwood, Illinois, who passed away on May 18, 2026 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry "Budd" Adams and Phyllis Ann Adams (Lewis); his sister Crystal; and his father-in-law Bob (Hayes). He is survived by: his wife Cindy (Hayes); his pet Smokey; his close friend Karen Smietanski; his daughter Vittoria Wurl; his granddaughter Phiona; his brother Harry "Jim" Adams; his mother-in-law Shirley; and his sister-in-law Dana Blatti (Jeff). He is also survived by one niece and three nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Nick's name may be directed to Mission K9 Rescue or Project Headspace and Timing, two organizations that honor and support veterans, service members, and the loyal canine companions who serve alongside them.
