We bid farewell to Beth M. Meier of Breese, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 12, 2025 at the age of 77. Beth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Schroer and Vera Schroer; her sisters, Martha Schroer and Mary Schroer; her parents-in-law, Melge and Emma Meier; and her in-laws, Melge Meier, Jr. (Pat), Wayne Meier (Nancy), Elena Meier, Frank Emma and Tom Suchy.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Meier (Krysta Hahn) of Breese and Karen Smith (Patrick) of Streator; her grandchildren, Allison and Michael Smith; her sister Barb Rinderer (John) of Aviston; and her siblings-in-law, Mabel Emma of Lee Summit, MO, Lucy Suchy of St. Albans, WV and Dennis Meier (Sheila) of Breese. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, plants, or other gifts, memorial donations may be made to HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital Auxiliary Lights for Scholarship and will be accepted at the visitation or by mail to Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th St., Breese, IL 62230, who is honored to serve the Meier family.
