She was predeceased by: her father Victor; her husband Larry Shenkel; and her siblings, Mary, Margaret Trame and Paul Trame.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn Rakers (Nira Ballentini) of Highland, Mary Kay Schrage (Lloyd) of Aviston, Tom Rakers (Michell) of Jamestown, Mike Rakers (Jill) of Breese, Mark Rakers of Highland and Patty Zurliene (Duane) of Breese; her stepdaughter Kathryn Wagner (Jack) of Columbia, MO; her grandchildren, Courtney Breckenridge (Sean Carver), Stephanie Henrichs (Ryan), Eric Rakers, Dani Hilmes (Nick), Aaron Schrage, Rishell Mueller (Craig), Jake Rakers (Becky), Josh Rakers (Lisa), Ashley Short (Travis), Danielle Rakers (Joe McGee), Alex Rakers (Mackenzie Burgett), Brooke Scott (Zach), Matt Zeisset (Chelsey Jones) and Jenny Becker (Tyler); her brother Joe Trame (Glenda) of St. Rose; and her sister-in-law Donna Trame of Highland. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to St. Dominic Church, St. Bonaventure Indian Mission, PO Box 610, Thoreau, NM 87323-0610, Trenton Village Activity Fund, or in the form of masses and will be received at the visitation or by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 535 N 5th St. Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
