He was predeceased by: his father Raymond W.; his wife Ruth Wood; his son-in-law Bernardo Tehandon; his siblings, Hayward Wood (Verna), Hadley Wood (Mary Ruth) and Juanita Young (Lowell); his parent-in-law Noel; and his brothers-in-law, Harold Woolever and Howard Woolever (Cleta).
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Wood (Melanie) of Smithton, Lou A. Wood of St. Rose, Vance Wood (Kelly) of Breese and Tracy Vicente of Centralia; his grandchildren, Keith Wood (April), Erin Wood (James Anderson), Jorge Tehandon, Adrian Tehandon (Alexis), Sarah Mueller (Bradley Gunter) and Trinidad Vincente; his great grandchildren, Drake, Betsy, Ruby Wood, Clayton, Kylie Combs, Alyssa Smith, Jeraldo, Jessenia Tehandon, Scarlette and Isabelle Tehandon; and his sister-in-law Donna Woolever of Blue Mound. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials in honor of Doc may be made to a grade school of donor's choice and will be received by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th St. Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
