It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth A. Brueggemann of Breese, Illinois, who passed away on January 14, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Alphonse; her husband Aloys "Al" Brueggemann; her grandson Andrew James; her brother Gerard "Gerry" Wiegman; her father-in-law Bernard; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Hummert, Joe Brueggemann, Clara Athmer, Bernard Brueggemann, Mary Rita Hilmes and Mary Lou Bowman.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy James of Noblesville, IN, Brian Brueggemann (Cori) of Breese, Barry Brueggemann (Melinda) of Carmel, IN and Kyle Brueggemann of Breese; her grandchildren, Caitlyn James, Robert James (Grace), Maggie Brueggemann, Anna Freeman (Kate), Bennett Brueggemann, Evan Brueggemann, Elana Brueggemann, Grant Toennies, Mason Toennies and Zander Brueggemann; her siblings, Patricia Hummert of Breese, Marvin Wiegman (Tina) of Carlyle and Allan Wiegman (Maureen) of Ferguson, MO; and her sisters-in-law, Maria "Ching" Wiegman of Carlyle and Blanche Brueggemann of Bartelso. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
