It is with sadness that the passing of Gary A. Nelson of Breese, Illinois is shared. Gary, born on June 11, 1959, passed away on August 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Arvid Nelson; and his father-in-law Eugene Willmann. He is survived by: his mother Marian Nelson of Trenton; his wife Deborah L. Nelson; his daughters, Sarah Nelson of Breese and Laura Nelson (Jason) of Highland; his grandchildren, Dakota, Kylyrr and Amber; his siblings, Rick Nelson (Barb) and Denise Lampe (Bob Brown); his mother-in-law Mary Jane Peters (Norbert) of New Baden; and his sister-in-law Theresa Bowlin (Mark Lee) of Collinsville.
In lieu of flowers, plants, or other gifts, memorials may be made to wishes to the family (checks payable to Deb Nelson) and will be received at the visitation or by mail at Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. Fifth St., Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
