In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Henry W. leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Henry W. may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ken Porter and Carolyn Porter (Wintermann); his siblings, Carol Hilmes (Steve), Dorothy Elling (Allan) and Paul Porter (Arthurina); and his siblings' children, Heather Uselton (Clint), John Hilmes, Samantha Elling and Talice Porter.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Moss Funeral Home (535 N 5th St, Breese, IL 62230). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to the wishes of the family (checks may be made to Carol Hilmes) and will be received at the funeral home or by mail Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th, Breese, IL 62230 who is serving the family.
