“I remember Kamini in high school, mostly in band, because she was ahead of me in school. It was amazing listening to her play the clarinet. I particularly remember her playing solo in a very long piece. During class we could stop at any given point (that WE needed to practice) and Mr. Watz could tell her where we were & she knew exactly where to start playing. She had it memorized but never missed a beat! Amazing! But she had a heart of gold to go with that.”
