He was predeceased by: his parents, William Porter and Margaret Porter; and his son Henry. He is survived by: his brother Earl Porter (Linda); his wife Carolyn Porter; his children, Carol Hilmes (Steve), Dorothy Elling (Allan) and Paul Porter (Arthurina); his grandchildren, Heather Uselton (Clint), John Hilmes, Samantha Elling and Talice Porter; and his great grandchildren, Brooklyn Lotz (Brennan), Harrison Uselton and Easton Uselton. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to the wishes of the family (checks payable to Carol Hilmes) and will be received at the visitation or by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 535 N 5th St. Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
