He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles L. Hillyer and Jeanette G. Hillyer; his wife Mary Suzanne Hillyer; and his sister Linda Clements. He is survived by: his daughters, Carolyn Laird (Derek) of Breese and Kimberly Ludewig (Terry) of Ohio; his grandchildren, Alexander Laird, George William Laird, Joseph Ludewig (Sydney) and Jourdan Ludewig; his great grandchildren, Theo, Kathryn Maria Ludewig and Remy Ludewig; his sisters, Lorraine Mattson (Joe) of Arizona, Leanne Pompei (Michael) of Pennsylvania and Lori Hillyer of Pennsylvania; and his brother-in-law Jerry Clements of Arizona. He is also survived by niece and nephew.

Memorials in Larry's honor may be made to the wishes of the family (checks payable to Carolyn Laird) and will be received by mail at Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th Street, Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
