She was predeceased by: her parents, Alphonse and Christina; her husband Leo "Buster" Schmidt; her daughter Doris Ray; her grandson Bret Sander; her siblings, Leo Albers and Viola Albers; and her sister-in-law Gertrude Wurm (Robert).
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Sander (John) of Jefferson City, MO and Nancy Schomaker (John) of New Baden; her son-in-law Mike Ray of Riverton; her grandchildren, Lisa Hammond (Kevin) of Jefferson City, MO, Christopher Schomaker (Danielle) of New Baden, Sarah Richter (Jeremy) of Mascoutah and Alicia Harney (Garrett) of Springfield; and her great grandchildren, Gabe, Cooper Hammond, Nora Schomaker, Avery, Chase Richter, Sophia and Noah Harney.
