He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Schumacher; and his nephew Sam Schumacher. He is survived by: his mother Lidwina Schumacher of St. Rose, IL.; his siblings, Mike Schumacher, Marian Netemeyer (Patrick), Martin Schumacher (Karen), Russ Schumacher, Rob Schumacher (Kathy), Rita Ratermann (Rick), Raphael Schumacher (Eleanor) and Carol Gajewski (Kurt); and his nieces and nephews, Andrea Thomas (Jeff Birlew), Emily Mrazek (Sterling), Ben Netemeyer, Seth Netemeyer (Heather), Sarah Eckelkamp (Ted), Carrie Nieto (Hugo), Paul Schumacher, Brian Schumacher (Alison), Ethan Schumacher, Lauren Schumacher, Grant Schumacher, Carissa McGowan (Luke), Kirsten Wilde (Brennan), Clint Ratermann (Meg), Kara Brening (Levi), Andrew Gajewski and Lydia Gajewski.
In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to Mater Dei Catholic High School, St. Rose Church, or St. Rose Fire Department and will be received at the visitation or by mail at Moss Funeral Home, 535 N 5th St. Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
