He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Thien and Margaret Thien (Frank); his wife Mary Ann Kolmer; his brother Paul Thien; his sister-in-law Luella Thien; his brother William; and his sister-in-law Diana Kolmer.
He is survived by: his son Mark Thien (Kathleen) of Columbia, IL; his brother Roger Thien of Breese; and his siblings-in-law, Lorraine Thien of St. Louis, John Kolmer (Karen) of Aviston and Karen Kolmer of Altamont. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers and other gifts, memorials may be made to Clinton County Humane Society and will be received at the funeral home.
