He was predeceased by: his father Bernard; his wife Mary Jane; his sons, Ronald and Kevin Von Bokel; his son-in-law Dr. Steven Helmink; his brothers, Ferdinand Von Bokel (Helen), Paul Von Bokel (Bernice), Robert Von Bokel and Bernard Von Bokel; his father-in-law Frank; and his brothers-in-law, Art Fuehne, Roger Henrichs and Art Rensing.
He is survived by: his children, Dale Von Bokel (Cathy) of Pocahontas, Donna Von Bokel of Highland, Mike Von Bokel (Brenda) of St. Jacob, Daniel Von Bokel (Samantha Peters) of Breese, Ralph Von Bokel Jr. (Lora) of Pocahontas, Jeff Von Bokel (Teresa) of Breese, Geralyn Albers (Dale) of Bartelso, Glen Von Bokel (Norma) of Carlyle, Lori Von Bokel-Amin of Memphis, TN and Lisa Helmink of Breese; his grandchildren, Eric (Marta), Brittany, Cody (Kelsey), Marcus Von Bokel, Jason Seiffert, Jessica Von Bokel, Amber Poettker (Scott), Chase (Chynna), Levi Von Bokel (Ali Wall), Kara Hilmes (Kyle), Jared, Justin Von Bokel, Jordan, Joshua, Joey Von Bokel, Alex (Brenna), Ryan, Emily, Gregory, Derek Von Bokel, Kristen Fuehne (Nick), Matt, Vivian (Ryan Wade), Patrick Albers, Aaron (Taylor), Curt (Jeralyn), Brett (Lindsey), Erika, Chad, Allison Von Bokel, Faris, Zain Amin, Katie, Sam and Nick Helmink; his sisters, Mary Schulte and Betty Von Bokel of Aviston; and his siblings-in-law, Dolores Von Bokel of Aviston, Mary Bolhofner (Ken) of Aviston, Gervase "Gerp" Henrichs (Dolores) of St. Rose, Patricia Fuehne of Albers, Lorraine Henrichs of St. Rose, Ruth Ann Rensing of New Douglas and Jim Henrichs (Carol) of Highland. He is also survived by 33 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
