She was predeceased by : her father Paul; her brother-in-law Leonard Ratermann (Mary Ellen) of Pierron; her brother George Strubhart; her father-in-law Sylvester; and her brothers-in-law, Don Detmer and John Ratermann (Alice).

She is survived by : her husband Carl Ratermann; her children, Stacy Schroeder (Tim) of Albers and Travis Ratermann (Bethany) of Cabot, AR; her grandchildren, Matthew Schroeder, Elizabeth Schroeder, Tessa Schroeder, Ava Ratermann and William Xavier Ratermann; her siblings, Dennis "Spank" Strubhart (Mae) of Aviston, Fred Strubhart (Fritz) of Bartelso, Richard Strubhart (Lisa) of Breese, David Strubhart (Kelly) of St. Charles, MO, Barb Detmer of Breese, Theresa Maue (Mike) of Mascoutah and Karen Schroeder (Kevin) of Breese; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen Detmer of Breese, Jane Lappe (Richard) of Breese and Patricia Detmer (Regi). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
