With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Di Pietro of Bridgeview, Illinois, who passed away on February 9, 2026 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Pietro and Helen Di Pietro; her grandparents, Jack and Connie Di Pietro; and her sister Annie Humanski (late Robert).
She is survived by: her extended family, Greg, Karen Ktistou, Mark, Kimmy Kacz, Rich, Linda Schultz, John, Deanna Chrastka, Matthew Durica, Jeff, Nicole Baron, Michele Ktistou and Elaina Ktistou. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carol's memory to PAWS Chicago and Ronald McDonald House Charities, causes that reflected her deep compassion and caring heart. And for everyone who loved her and will always love her still, we know exactly what Carol would say now, just as she always did— "Love you more.".
