He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Lukanus and Jan Lukanus; and his siblings, Jan, Stanislaw, Wladyslaw Lukanus, Jacek Takuski and Wladyslawa Jarzombek.
He is survived by: his wife Angela; his children, Joe Lukanus (Susan) and Mary Kowalczyk (Ted); his grandchildren, Coleman Lukanus (Brittany), Bryan Lukanus (Emily), Grace Lukanus, Alec Kowalczyk and Hannah Kowalczyk; and his great grandchildren, CJ, Noah, Bennett and Jack Lukanus.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Zarzycki Manor Chapels, Ltd. - Willow Springs (8999 Archer Ave, Willow Springs, IL 60480-1205). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 8:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Fabian Church (8300 Thomas Ave, Bridgeview, IL 60455). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Resurrection Cemetery (7201 Archer Ave, Justice, IL 60458).
