He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Lou; his parents, Merlee Alice and Newton Lorenzo Shelly; and his siblings, Brenda Ross and Jerry Shelly (Jimmie).
He is survived by: his children, Wayne Jr. Shelly (Dawn), Kristie Albrecht (Mark), Keith Shelly (Lisa) and Scott Shelly. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
