Raymond F. Jachim Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Raymond F. Jachim of Bridgeview, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 14, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Marlene D. Greisheim; his daughter Michele Jachim-Eden; his parents, Frank Jachim and Lillian Jachim; his mother-in-law Dorothy Griesheim; his brother-in-law Robert Mesec (James White); and his friend Carl Mantegna.
He is survived by: his son Navy LT; his grandchildren, Katelyn Ashbery (William), Nathan Eden (Alyssa Fagan), Paige Eden (Josh Kopp), Sarah Beveridge (Ryan Ward), Scott Beveridge, Stephen Beveridge (Gabriella Rosales) and Spencer Beveridge; his sister Cynthia White; his great grandchildren, Wesley Kopp and Charlotte Eden; his friends, Gregory Bednarz and Prairie Materials; his children, Commissioning Ceremony, Raymond and Lisa; and his wife Marykay Nantista Pokorny. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium (7861 88th Ave, Justice, IL 60458). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location.
