He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Kenneth and Elaine Sanders. He is survived by: his parents, Tommy McAfee and Janice McAfee (Sanders); his wife Christina Crane of Patrick's Catholic Church; his children, Benjamin, Audriana and Johnathan McAfee; his sister Elizabeth Rea (Brandon); his grandparents, Oswald and Leona McAfee; his parents-in-law, Scott and Carolyn Crane; his sister-in-law Amanda Wegrzyn (Andrew); and his nieces and nephews, Chase, Olivia Rea, Clare and Kolbe Wegrzyn. He is also survived by numerous cousins and life long friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anderson Family Funeral Home (501 W Center St, Brighton, IL 62012). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St John's Catholic Church (203 N Main St, Medora, IL 62063).

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Jersey County Garden Tractor Pullers Association, Medora Cemetery Association, or Jersey County Farm Bureau Scholarship Foundation.
