We announce the death of Donald McLaughlin of Brighton, Illinois, who passed away on August 30, 2026, at the age of 76. Donald will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest McLaughlin and Edna McLaughlin (Gregory); and his brothers, Raymond Wiltshire, Floyd Wiltshire, Gerald McLaughlin and David McLaughlin.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Paris; his children, Robin Clark (Jay) of Brighton, Rick McLaughlin (Jaymie), John Jones of Florissant, MO and Cassie Hoyt (Cole) of St. Jacob; and his sister Verna Robinson. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Anderson Family Funeral Home (501 W Center St, Brighton, IL 62012). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
