He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward and Emma Farmer (Kuehnel); and his wife Judith Ann Dooley. He is survived by: his children, John Edward Farmer, Mark Farmer (Karla), Bridgett Ann Morris, Harry Glen Farmer, Debra Kesler, Joe Farmer and Mary Ruyle (Rusty). He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren, 2 sisters-in-law, 1 brother-in-law, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
