He was predeceased by: his parents, James Garner and Norma Garner (Jones); his wife Judy Baumgarte; and his sister Twyla Horton. He is survived by: his children, Gina Garner (Josh Guthrie) of Lansing, MI, Darin Garner (Traci) of O'Fallon, MO, Christy Garner of Hazelwood, MO, Dave Garner of Brighton, IL and Brian Garner (Jenna) of Alton, IL; his grandchildren, Michael Guthrie, Gavin Garner, Landon Buchheit and Lexi Garner; and his sister Aleta Garner.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anderson Family Funeral Home (501 W Center St, Brighton, IL 62012). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul United Methodist Church (401 N Main St, Brighton, IL 62012).
