Paul Woolsey Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on February 20, 2026, at the age of 87, Paul Woolsey (Brighton, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul A. Woolsey and Dorothy L. Woolsey; his wife Mary Judith Richard; his siblings, Betty Wieneke, Jim Woolsey and Doris Scales; and his brothers-in-law, Doral Schmidt, Bill Wieneke, Jim Kinnebrew and Larry Wahle.
He is survived by: his children, Valerie Smith (Jerry) of Bunker Hill, IL, Melissa Kobiella (Tony), Michelle Copas (Jeff) of Liberty Township, OH, Paul R. (Angie) of Hettick, IL and Amy of Carlinville, IL; his grandchildren, Kristina Davenport (Brad), Geoff Smith (Rachael), Danielle Redman (Jacob), Jacob Smith (Justuce), Chris Woolsey (Bailey), Stephanie Woolsey, Patrick Woolsey and Morgan Copas; his sisters, Mary Lou Schmidt, Leona McAfee (Os), Ruth Anderson (Sam), Judy Kinnebrew and Ann Ezzo (Steve); and his sisters-in-law, Janet Woolsey and Jacqueline Richard-Wahle. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Donations may be made in Paul's name to the Alzheimer's Association, the American Heart Association, or the American Cancer Society.
