She was predeceased by: her parents, G. "Ed" Anders and Pat Anders. She is survived by: her husband Richard "Rick" S. Naugle of Brighton; her son Mason Cougill of Brighton; her sister Lisa; her brother-in-law Kenny Jones of Delhi; her stepmother Mary Anders of Godfrey; and her parents-in-law, Vernon and Ruth Ann Naugle of Medora. She is also survived by her family, colleagues, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gent Funeral Home & Cremation Services (2409 State St, Alton, IL 62002). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Valhalla Memorial Park (2308 W Delmar Ave, Godfrey, IL 62035-1308).
In memory of Shellie, donations are encouraged to the American Heart Association, a cause she ardently supported.
