He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervan Shane and Julia Shane (DeWulf); and his sister Barbara Wyman. He is survived by: his wife Martha Yates of Brimfield; his children, Marnie Shane (Chad Davis) of Dunlap and Rick Shane (Stephanie) of Brimfield; his stepchildren, Darilynn Criss (Mark) of Germantown Hills and Brad Patterson (Megan) of Tremont; his grandchildren, Dylan, Caleb, Shelbi, Kenzie (Brad), Kirstyn, Chad, Jr., Pierce, Kiptyn and Tyra; and his brother Robert Shane (Barbara) of Princeville. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
