It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley A. Cinnamon of Brimfield, Illinois, who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Lampkin and Mary Lampkin (VanCleave); and her husband William Davis Cinnamon. She is survived by: her children, William Marcus Cinnamon (Cindi) of Shabbona, IL, Michael Lee Cinnamon (Sue Osborne) of Brimfield, IL, Mary Ann Cinnamon (Roger) of Bella Vista, AR and Monte C. Cinnamon (Chris Langley) of Laguna Beach, CA; and her grandchildren, Christian Daniel Cinnamon (Courtney) of Toulon, IL, Cody David Cinnamon of Oak Hill, IL, Chelsea Jo Cinnamon-Di (Nick), Erika Ann Cinnamon (Fowler) of Chicago, IL, Jessica Ann Richards (Julian) of Toronto, Ontario, William Tyler Cinnamon (Nelly) of Nairobi, Ashley Ann Murphy of Wilton Manors, FL, Drew Thomas Murphy (Rosie) of Moreno Valley, CA and Andrea Morgan Murphy (Ghassen) of Corona, CA. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (314 W Clay St, Brimfield, IL 61517). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Brimfield Area Museum.
