It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barry Skold of Broadlands, Illinois, born in Pekin, Illinois, who passed away on April 15, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Karl Skold; and his son Geoffrey Aaron Skold. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Scheffler Carman of Broadlands; his children, Denise Gilstrap (Dave) of Farmington and Brent Skold (Roxanne) of St. Augustine, FL; his stepdaughter Amy Rumsey (Mike) of Urbana; his grandchildren, Caleb, Branden and Averie Gilstrap; his stepgrandchildren, Vanessa Brownfield (Jake) and Jeremy Rumsey (Courtney Daniels); and his siblings, Calvin Skold (Sandy) of Morton, Karla Eder (Rich Forster) of Hammond, IN and Penny Bright (Rick) of Delavan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
