Richard Skinner Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Skinner of Broadlands, Illinois, who passed away on March 9, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Richard leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Richard may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Skinner and Jennie Skinner (Long); and his brother Ronald Skinner. He is survived by: his children, Paul Skinner of Champaign and Sarah Frazee of Tuscola; his granddaughter Kennedy Bowers of Villa Grove; and his brother Donald Skinner of Villa Grove.
