With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sheila Jo of Brocton, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Sheila left this world on June 9, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Sheila has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ormal and Honora Wiese (Currey); and her husband Paul Brothers. She is survived by: her son Jeffrey Pangburn; and her sisters, Kaye Darling and Rita Lindsay. She is also survived by two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Krabel Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Oakland (215 E Main St, Oakland, IL 61943). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Aloysius Catholic Church (528 N Main St, Paris, IL 61944).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to either St Jude Children's Cancer Research Hospital or The Relay For Life sponsored by The American Cancer Society.
