With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Geraldine Kolb of Brookfield, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James Philip Kolb, Sr.; her children, Donna Porter, James Kolb, Jr. (Medria) and John Kolb (Lisa); her grandchildren, Nick Franciose, Christopher Franciose (Rikki), Caley Engnell (Bryan), Kyle Kolb, Michelle Porter, Kendall Kolb (Jenna) and Danielle Kolb (Bobby); her great grandchildren, Jackson Johnson, Joslyn Engnell, Brayden Franciose, Kasey Kolb, Oliver Moore, Jakub Franciose, Finley Engnell, McKenzie Kolb, Axel Engnell, River Engnell, Everly Hall, Phoenix Engnell, Echo Moon and Aurora Engnell; and her brother Albert Dods (Jeannie).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 31st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd. (9445 31st St, Brookfield, IL 60513). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 31st 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
