He was predeceased by: his father Jerome Bednar. He is survived by: his mother Jordis Bednar (Kozloski); his wife Janet Bednar (Kloss); his children, Katie Bednar and Ryan Bednar (Emma Brett); his grandchild Marlowe Jude Brett-Bednar; and his siblings, Jenifer Bednar Sinde, James Bednar and Jordis Daigle. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, and great many friends.
In lieu of flowers, John has requested donations be made to the Friends of Music fund at First Congregational Church of La Grange.
