She was predeceased by: her son Michael Smetana (Susie); her granddaughter Nichole Smetana; her sister Patricia Barwood (late Charles Barwood); Edward Smetana Sr.. She is survived by: her close friend Robert Butler Sr.; her children, Mary Jo Yeater (Randy), Edward Smetana, Steven Smetana and Susan Butler (Bill); her grandchildren, Ryan Yeater (Karianne), Jonathan Yeater (Mandy), Michael Smetana Jr., Christal Smetana (DJ), Robert Smetana, Bill Butler Jr. (Marianne), Julie Trnka (Michael), Elizabeth Robins (Daniel) and Brian Smetana (Kari); her great grandchildren, Liam, Logan, Tullulah, Paisley, Waylon and Baylie; and her nieces, Celeste Rusoff (Rob), Gina Lizio, Christine Perillo (Michael) and Patti Henry (Steven).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Barbara Church (4000 Prairie Ave, Brookfield, IL 60513). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Barbara Catholic Church (4000 Prairie Ave, Brookfield, IL 60513).
