He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Candace Short; his children, Kaitlan Jones (Terrance) and Connor Short (Jacqlyn); his grandchildren, Kennedy Jones, Ewan Short and Kiara Jones; his siblings, Kathleen Dieter (Steve), Timothy Short (Fran), Patrick Short (Christine), Kevin Short, Brian Short (Joyce), Maureen Bohan (Terry), Megan Chlada (Thomas) and Denis Short; and his mother-in-law Joan Curran.
