We announce the death of Linn Alan Waynick of Brookport, Illinois, who passed away on September 25, 2026, at the age of 72. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Albert and Edith Waynick (Lauer); his wife Patty Lee Waynick (Brinker); his grandson William Patrick Waynick Miller Jr.; and his sisters, Donna Rae Green (Waynick) and Lois Koerner.
He is survived by: his daughters, Janice Lynn Miller, Amy Diane Ellis (Waynick) and Rachel Dee McClellan (Eric); his grandchildren, Nicholas Reid Miller (Noah), Bode Andrew Miller, Mikayla Diane Cross (Alex), Lily Beth Gordon, Lillie Yoshua (Nathan), Arissa McClellan (Daltton) and Bella McClellan; his great grandchildren, Evalina Cross, Lana Cross, Ivy Cross and Nellie Mae Morris; and his brother John Dennis Waynick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Loftus-McManus Brookport Funeral Home (7742 S US 45 Rd, Brookport, IL 62910). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
