He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Leon and Lola Rene McConkey (Beck); and his siblings, Miles McConkey, Jay McConkey, Linda Koehler and Diana Jones.
He is survived by: his siblings, Paul McConkey (Doris) and Janet Hunsaker (Lowell). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gieseking Funeral Home (100 Douglas Drive, Brownstown, IL 62418). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
