He was predeceased by : his wife Carol Sue Compton; his daughter Paula Ignat; his grandson Tim Torbeck; and his sister Erma Strobel (Virgil). He is survived by : his daughters, Karen Torbeck (Scott) of St. Peter and Amy Hoesli (Timothy) of Taylorville; his son-in-law Sorin Ignat of Richton Park; his grandchildren, Travis Torbeck (Amanda), Erika Smith (Brian), Cheyenne Hoesli and Regan Hoesli; and his great grandchild Jase Torbeck.
Memorials may be made to Liberty Cemetery or the donor's choice.
