He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil O. Sperry and Ellen Sperry (Blaylock); his son Dale Sperry; and his siblings, Maurice Sperry (Moe), Shirley Curry and Aileen Tinker.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Lucille Rhodes of Brownstown; his daughters, Robin Harrison (Bernie) of Pekin and Amy Stephens (Ed) of Peoria; his brother Gary Sperry (Judith) of Manito; his daughter-in-law Kay Sperry of St. Elmo; his sister-in-law Ann Sperry of Galesburg; and his grandchildren, Brian Mans, Bernie Harrison, Cody Sperry, Amanda Moreland, Ted Moreland, Ben Sperry and Sam Sperry. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Altamont Masonic Lodge, Post 533, Shriner's Hospital or donor's choice.
