He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Hattemar and Ione Hattemar (Droege); his siblings, Marvin, Calvin and Dolly Jane; and his children, Heath Ward and Angela Marie.
He is survived by: his wife Marcia Greathouse; his children, Owen Hattemar (Vicki) of Perdido Beach, Laurie Lehr (Edward) of Godfrey and Katherine Friedel (Alan) of Golden Eagle, IL; his grandchildren, Kyle, Caleb Hattemar and Tyler Friedel; and his great grandchild Owen Hattemar II.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gress, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home - Brussels (145 Community Ave, Brussels, IL 62013). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
