He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry John and Frieda A. Kottke Rust; his son Dale; and his siblings, Irma Laesch, Marlene Deerwester, Verna Madden, Merle Rust and Harold Rust.
He is survived by: his children, Myron Rust (Belinda) of Buckley and Kendra Andree (Bruce) of Champaign; his grandchildren, Jason Rust (Kaci), Jami Roberts (Cory) and Chase Andree (Elizabeth); his great grandchildren, Kylie, Traxton, Brocktyn, Kasen, Kashton and Miles; and his brother Wayne Rust (Dorothy Karr) of Rankin.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Baier Family Funeral Services (306 E Lincoln St, Buckley, IL 60918). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (206 E Main St, Buckley, IL 60918). A burial will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at the St. John's Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, Buckley or an organization of the donor's choice.
