He is survived by: his children, Sandra Kay Miller of Charlottesville, Daniel William Luhrsen (Cathy) of Tennessee, Peggy Ann Burgett (Randy) of Goodwine and Nancy Lynn Street (Jeff) of DeWitt, Illinois; his grandchildren, James Miller (Jessica), Jessie Paul (Mark), Matt Luhrsen (Angela), Joshua Luhrsen, Gabriele Luhrsen, Donald Burgett, Natasha Johnson (Ryan), Daniel Burgett and Cassandra Wood (Tony); his great grandchildren, Nathan Orval Miller, Talynn, Owen, Amelia, Lauren, Kamryn, Chase, Faith, Elisabeth and Isabelle; and his sister Ruth Grace of Paxton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
