The memory of Carl R. Mangold Jr. of Buda, Illinois, who passed away on June 19, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Mangold and Anna Mangold (Kruse); his siblings, Robert Mangold and Ann Ehresman; and his granddaughter Jen MacNaughton.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Mangold; his daughters, Debbie Zenger (Tom), Cheri Smith (Curt), Karen Mangold-Buckman (Joe), Michelle Spain (Jeff) and Tracy Mangold; his grandchildren, Greg Conlee (Annevay), Shane Mangold, Nicole Loveless (Steve), Lauren MacNaughton, Derek Zenger (Miranda), Ashley Wofford (Chris), Danielle Zenger, Caleb Slemer, Rachel MacNaughton, Connor Smith, Brandon Smith (Kelby), Jared Smith and Josiah Mangold; his sisters, Betty Hollenberg (Dale) and Irene Nafziger; and his sister-in-law Geraldine Mangold. He is also survived by his many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home- Bradford (217 E Main St, Bradford, IL 61421). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (218 1st St, Bradford, IL 61421). A burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. John's Cemetery (1300 N, Osceola Township, IL 61421).
