With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Spears of Buda, Illinois, who passed away on May 10, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Spears and Gladys Spears (Stout); his wife Barbara DeCraene; his sons, Jesse and Jeff; his granddaughters, Kaylie and Jasmine; his siblings, James, Roger, Otto and Joyce Spears; and his siblings-in-law, Rose Lowman, Carol Spears, Walt Lowman and Paul Hilger.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tina Roberts of Buda and Teri Green (Tom) of Chillicothe; his daughters-in-law, Cindy Spears and Diane Sims; his siblings, Marvin Spears and Mary Ann Murphy (Marvin); his siblings-in-law, Elaine Hilger and Andrew DeCraene (Billy Kidd); his grandchildren, Jacob (Tori Rhae), Mike (Audrey), Seth, Logan, Victoria (Pancho), Tiffany, Jennifer (Dan) and Jessica; and his great grandchildren, Jordan, Abel, Greysen, Emmieline, Lorraine, Gianna and Abigail.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Jerry Spears Memorial Fund to be distributed amongst local charities.
