He was predeceased by: his father James Oliver Banks. He is survived by: his mother Sharon Banks; his sisters, Dawne Banks (Ed Casey), Cindy Engel (Larry) and Beverly Linning (late Brian); his nieces and nephews, Andrew Piotrowski, Timothy Piotrowski (Rebecca Calloway), Corinne Benzinger, Michael Benzinger (Kara), Aubrey Linning, Grace LeClair (Jason), Maisy Linning, Abigail Linning, Heidi and Elliot Benzinger; and his pet Mokey.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (1190 N Hicks Rd, Palatine, IL 60067). A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
