She was predeceased by: her spouse Ira Gilbert; her grandchild Marlee Kalmin; her parents, Philip Mitchel and Lillian Mitchel; and her brother Michael Mitchel (Carol).

She is survived by: her children, Pamela Gilbert and Larry Gilbert (Marla); and her grandchildren, Joey Kalmin (Gloriana), Lindsey Kalmin, Madelyn Gilbert and Taylor Gilbert.
