He was predeceased by: his wife Anita "Bootzie" Levy; his parents, Aaron Levy and Etta Levy; and his siblings, Howard Levy (late Sarane), Muriel Wolfson (late Jerome) and Stewart Levy (late Faye).
He is survived by: his children, Holly Callen Hamilton (Rob Hamilton), Marc Levy (Karyn), Gramps, Snookums (Kristen) of Brian, Jenifer Goldsmith (Rich), Kari Darmstadter (Seth) and Jeremy Levy (Melissa); his great grandchildren, Brianna Perttula (Nathan), McKenna Callen, Lexi, Cole Darmstadter, Kately, Payton and Addison Levy; his nephews, Jeff and Rick; and his friends, Patsy and Marvin Jacobs.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Zion Gardens Cemetery (6758 W Addison St, Chicago, IL 60634). For information about Shiva, please contact the family.
